CHARLOTTE – Bank of America Merchant Services, a global leader in payments, eCommerce and security, today announced a three-year sponsorship of Florida International University’s Global Sales Program. As part of the sponsorship, Bank of America Merchant Services leaders will help the business school’s students and faculty develop a deeper understanding of the payments and digital commerce industry, as well as careers within the company.
When our sales leaders visited Florida International University, everyone walked away with the same impression: FIU’s Global Sales Program is very impressive, especially because of the caliber of the students and their level of engagement,” said Bank of America Merchant Services Chief Human Resources Officer Marian Wilson. “The Global Sales Program helps prepare students for not just a job in sales, but a productive, long-term career. Bank of America Merchant Services is delighted to contribute to the students’ growth and development and educate them on potential opportunities for post-graduate employment.”
Located within the College of Business, the Global Sales Lab at Florida International University is a collaborative, technology driven facility available to students for Global Sales Program events, sales competitions, teamwork and intensive study. Here students will get to know Bank of America Merchant Services and its leaders as they bring real-world sales scenarios into the classroom.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opening Bank of America Merchant Services’ dedicated collaboration and sales simulation space within the Global Sales Lab was held on Sept. 19, 2018.
